not neccesarily, i know those v-dubs will run out of speed in a 1/4. On a track like this i think the key to whippin ass is low gearing. so 4.88s plus the drs which are shorter for more gear reduction will equal great accel . this would only work on a 1/8 mile track

sorry dude but you aint getting no 7.2 with the 4.88's with even full slicks....add a 200 shot and I'll believe you:D

Oh by the way D, i put in a bottle of the mopar friction modifier and my peg seems to be gone now. i have an equal amount of rubber on both fenders now. yet the mag on the drain plug seems to have to much metal on it to be good. Ima see now if i can gete this warrantied and maybe get that unitrax u were talkin bout along with the 4.88s

Maybe you should just dump all the fluid and put in new gear oil with the modifier...of course since you're getting the 4.88's they can check the clutch packs then.

Well i have been thinkin bout that for a while.....If you can help set up a system to run a 150 w/o hurtin my engine(i.e. propane) i will surely be lookin into it. On top of that, i wanna look into finding the way to get this bitch to pull the front tires off the ground. You said it your self, the way to beat an L is to launch like one. So far as next mods this is what i'm lookin at. GEARs, clutch, CALtracs, adjustable shocks, nos, headers, shifter. damn shit adds up pretty quick

Yeah i wanted to change the fluid but i did this at the last minute. Also i want keep that fluid in there so i could maybe get this warrantied. Then i could just get the parts subbed in there.

I would just go to unitrax and get the 4.88's installed there, the clutch packs are only like $40 if you need new ones...not really worth the hassle to try and get them warrantied at the dealership.

Yeah your right...why spend money twice...slicks it will be, however i'm going to make a few calls to some dodge dealers in mex and get those smaller d-60s rear brakes. I'll save my self alot of trouble
