So I'm sitting in my office and I hear something revving up in the street outside, then the squeal of tires. I look my office window and it's the body shop owner next door with his short box chevy "hotrod". And sure enough, there is a single stripe about 10' long where he "lit-em-up. I've had my truck for a few weeks now and have been very gentle with it. But there were all the guys I work with, and all the guys from the shop next door, staring at me expectantly. What was I supposed to do? :dontknow:

I mean afterall, who in their right mind would challenge a RC '10 to a burnout contest? :D

You can see where I grabbed second, I thought about grabbing third too, but let off when it hit 6000 rpm.

Normally I wouldn't participate in such shenanigans.... But it was a great chance to get my point across to everyone at once. And it was a freaking ton of fun :D. Like I said, that's the first time I've really jumped on it!

The are at the bottom of the screen. His mark runs perpendicular to mine. So I started my burnout right about where his is in the picture. I measured mine right before I left work: Just over 100'. First gear was 5', then a 3' gap, then 95' of black marks. Maybe I should have grabbed 3rd, but then again maybe I am lucky I got away with what I did. Either way it was fun :)

That can be arranged! Got to keep those tires clean u know! U comin over the 28th for Mopars at Thunder Mtn? Love to have u here, need more 10s in the area. Have another RC in town, but guy not into truck scene,so doesnt care to hang out etc. U can also reach me [email protected]. Ltr & keep the shiny side up..

Nice burnout Caveman. Just don't make the same mistake I made and have to peel off rubber from the rear. :(

I think you should post pictures of your mistake, just so I can be sure not to make it... :captain:

I should have taken a pic but, I was worried about getting it off. I wind up using some 3M adhesive remover to get it off (took several attempts too). :D
