Thanks to John at M&H I got my new drag radials today and mounted the meats up! Damn the 390's are big! Sorry I don't have pics tonight but i didn't have my camera at my bros where I was working on it. I changed the gear oil too and used Lucas Synthetic. Oh and for shits and giggles I took off the rear portion of my magnaflow so I just have headers to mids to muffler and thats it....no pipe going up and over the axel....I'll see how I like it for a day and may end up doing some turndowns. Heading to the track tomorrow night to see what kind of 60's I can pull w/ this new rubber! Maybe Blake will show up and shoot some vid:dontknow:

Get all the practice you can before December....:D Good luck on the runs tonight.

What was the price for the tires? Did you order them through their website? You and I have talked in length about which tire I should use...still think the 390s? I'd like to find out what kind of burnout (rpms, duration, etc) your gonna use. If I still have the truck I'll have to get some plus the rims. Good luck, I'm anxious to hear how things work out with the larger tires.

Well just off my initial perception....these are definately the tires to get.....don't get the smaller ones!!!! I usually drive around the waterbox and back up into it and blip it a bit to get the tires wet and roll forward out of the water box......then dump it at 3500 and get on the brakes real quick and burn out at about 4,500 rpms until you see smoke in your drives mirror then let off the brake and rev it up past 5,000 smoke em good for 15 or 25 feet or so up to the tree. Then stage quick and dump it at what ever your setup can handle. I was launching at 4,500 rpm w/ the other tires, with these it will most likely be over 5,000. You don't want your truck to bog off the line too much and fall on its face!
