The last picture is what the end of the catless mid pipes look like.. i guess this
isn't all "Bolt-on" in a sense that i will probly need to do some welding :(
Also, by looking at the headers i don't think there coated.. :dontknow:

I'll post some more pictures in this thread when i install and probly do a DIY :D

They look nice and your right there not coated? There polished! The main reason i didnt go with the B & B was the open header flange ive had trouble in the past with them leaking. Hopefully they will work for ya without to much hell.

they look and are great i suppose but let me give some remarks on that equipment which is expensive so we can expect quality :

1) there are overwelds in the collector inside ( which is no exception, even with a qualified welder ) but those were easely grinded away before welding the next piece....would have taken some minutes.
I have done it on other brand with a dremel afterworths.

2) the welds are not pickeld and passivated. This gives a complete finish but you lose a bit the shining of the polished tubes themselfs. As for exhaust tubes they will discolor soon enough so i would opt for pickling the welds, i mean you will longer see the discoloring of the heat input by welding than the perfect shining tubes.

3) the collector has no aligned welds but overlaps.I don't know for a exhaust but this gives pressure drops ( sudden change in flow section ) and makes "spaces" were corrosion begins...ofcourse aligned tubes and welding requires more time and preparation....

4) last but not least they tag-welded there nameplate on a tube...those are very dangerous spots to blow trough in time.....because they are very difficult to make without damage on the main tube material.

sorry for the comment, we make ASME heat exchangers, they would kill me for those ones... :D

they don't come "coated"..... i sent mine to jet-hot in arizona to get them extreme sterling coated...... glad i did -- lotsa heat off them headers...... bolt on ?? good luck with that, it's not as easily installed as you might hope....... but, when all is said & done -- they do sound awesome !!!!!

Great photos of the B&Bs Sharp! I am on a 3-4 month waiting list for their Cat back on my LS7 Z06.

Thanks for the comments guys! also, thanks belgiumbarry for making me feel "better" about
my purchase of these headers ;) :p i plan on installing them monday as the weekend
can bring unexpected problems with people sometimes not being open and what-not..
most likely i will install the headers and midpipes and just run the truck without
the muffler to the muffler shop to get the pipes attached to the muffler..
