Hello guys and gals. First off happy holidays to everyone. I picked up a 05 qc 10 about a month ago and its been great so far. This is our first truck ever, we've only owned small turboed (we still have a 08 caliber srt4) or supercharged 4 cylinders so the added space in the rear seats are awesome and since we live in Hawaii people (age 12 and up) can ride in the bed of the truck.

Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on things I should check up on like any common problems that 10's normally have besides gas mileage lol. Truck has 103k on it. Im trying to read as much as I can and learn about our trucks. Also trying to find out if my 10 has been modified. Just by looking I can see a kn intake and dual side exit exhaust. Looks to be cat back only and it has borla mufflers. Cats still in place. Here are some pics. Thanks.

Just check for leaky oil cooler lines and power steering lines.

A full fluid flush wouldn't hurt either.

That hole in your K&N Conical filter is supposed to have rubber hosing going from your heads to it... is it just open so shit can get in it and sucked down your intake?!

I would personally invest in an oil catch can, and take that breather off your passenger side valve cover.

Also check the air filter element for holes. Sometime they rub on the inner fender.

Rear end fluid change plus modifier...Coolant flush and trans oil or fluid change wouldnt hurt one bit!!! When i buy something used i treat it as no service had ever been done...but thats just me...
