Noriega always wore a military uniform with lots of fake medals, fruit salad and an air force cap with srambled eggs all over the brim.... He looked like a hideous cross between Billy Barty and a salad bar.....

Well the reason I miss him is that he was pretty much harmless. I believe we sent a small Brownie Troupe down there and squashed that diminutive shitbird in about 30 seconds flat...... That's why I miss him... He reminds me of the days when politicians weren't afraid to go in and kick some ass.

Since the inception of this great forum, many members have taken it upon themselves to demonstrate their ill will and a general penchant for stone throwing at Ekool, JayC and their ilk.... (that's a big deer)....

In addition some (and I'm including members that I dearly love and greatly respect) have even gone so far as to intentionally instigate open hostilities through the use of all manner of troublesome posts, name calling and rock throwing at the SRT-10 forum.... and I guess this is pretty much to be expected.

But wouldn't it be fitting if our members held themselves to higher standard than (perhaps that of) our predecessors and show them that we're made of better stuff than that?

Sure, it's human nature to want to strike back at some pulsating sphincter that you think has wronged you. And yes, revenge is sweet.

But I believe that Patrick, Jack, RoktDave and others who represent the vanguard of this forum would be better represented by a membership that has a bit more nobility than that.

Sure, there are grievances that have gone unresolved by the former regime. And certainly there are those who may believe that their anger and (frankly) hurt may merit a bit more retribution. But I'd like to suggest that enough is enough. Cuz frankly, I think we are far better than that.

How 'bout we let bygones be bygones and focus more on what has made this the greatest fraternity of it's kind on the www. Let's be the class act that we are and just let this shit go....

Well said.... I don't bother with the other site anymore.... it's no longer on the puter.....have no hard feelings for others that still surf it.....and have been over the quarrel for some time now. Good post SD.

Good post, I was gone while the shit hit the fan so I cant say anything but I was kind of wondering why things were still out of hand. I nominate Silent D as the most level headed and openly logical person on the forum : )

And yep, I just got mine, fun as hell and very quick, maybe faster than the truck but it's lower so it seems faster to begin with. I'm waiting to get my truck back so I can take it and have it looked at, the engine light comes on and off and it seems maybe a turbo is cracked but I dont know anything about turbos to diagnose anything. *shrug*

Azmal, let me know if you have turbo issues...I have two Turbonetics T28/T28 hybrids for sale as I am upgrading to a larger set. I can also recomend a top tuner for these cars.

Even us poor jarheads could afford it and act like we were rock stars LOL. Probably had something to do with the fact that the place was a distribution center for Escobar and the rest of the Columbians!

But we knew that for years, he just pissed on somebody's leg somewhere along the line and that got him in trouble. Probably stopped kicking back to the CIA or some shit.

But as despots go, Noriega was an easy adversary to neutralize. That's what I meant when I said I missed him....

Hey Bro,

I realize that there are some serious tempers in response to the unfair and (what appears to be some) downright vicious deeds done by those guys. I can't really say that if it were done to me that I wouldn't be employing a "scorched earth" policy myself.

But when the hostilities escalate to the point where we begin suffering casualties in our own ranks (such as Jaime/Rolex Dr.) I have to say that enough is e-fricken-nuff.

Jaime is a good man and it's a bloody GD travesty that one of our own must leave the forum simply because he tried to say the same things that I did. I for one, consider losing him to be unacceptable. He was simply attempting to be the voice of reason.

Now, I am not trying to point fingers or assign blame. I don't (effin) know who said what, when, or where. But Jaime is a good man and a valuable brother to have on this forum. The fact that this situation exploded and we lost this fine man is a damned travesty.... and frankly it broke my heart when I heard of it...

As for the platitudes you mentioned....... Well, those will always be with us..
