I am looking for some stock purchase ideas ... What ticker symbols do you recommend as a possible decent investment ...( FB is not considered at this time )
I do prefer stocks that pay Dividends and are more on the safe side ,, Such as Utilities ... Electric , water companies Etc. unless you have some excellent insider info for me !:)

Not advice per say ... Ideas , Yes ... I will be doing my own research before making any purchases ...:p
And I do have a Brokerage dude for help if I want it ...

Suncor energy. Their stock is grossly undervalued. I believe they are paying a dividend and there is pressure for them to increase their dividend to help boost the stock price. Do some research first and make up your own mind if it is right for you

No Dividend , But seem to have been on the upswing for a while now ... I'll be watching them for now ! Would have been great to have bought back in late 2009 and even in august 2011 .... still on the up climb ... But , the guess will be when will the decline start ?? Watch list for sure !:rock:

Prices is down , seems to be running a lower price down swing but level chart since last 2 for 1 split and pays dividends ... Will be looking at this one closer ....:rock:

I looked into it prior to the open ... Recommendations I saw were DO NOT BUY, Over inflated price to start ... I will still watch it as the price drops and maybe later down the road when all the investigations are said and done buy a few for a couple dollars per share just to say I did ... :D
 
This is something I am trying to follow ! There is a patent infringement trial going on now . Vringo Vs. Google . It appears that Vringo may have the upper hand . If they win the stock is speculated to possibly explode and Google may get slam dunked, BIG TIME ! Google took a huge nose dive on the market yesterday due to a slip of the tongue about their earnings.. This suit could slam them even more if they lose the case .. Vringo is selling in the low $4 dollar range at the moment ... Does anyone have info on this suit or know anyone that is actually sitting in the court room in Virginia ? This could be a rare chance to make a killing in the market .... (GOOG) , ( VRNG ) are the stock symbols if you want to check them out . Other law suits may follow by Vringo against some major companies .... I do not have stock in either company at the moment but Vringo is of extreme interest at the moment ... Any and all info about this would be helpful ...

I just checked on Vringo and they already took a pretty big jump. They were under $3 less than a month ago. Could be a jump in anticipation of a verdict favoring them.... I am watching closely. Even if Google dropped 50% I still couldn't pick them up.
 
Yes , Vringo jumped ,,, I believe due to the hopes of a out of court settlement.. Google decided to fight the case which may be causing some investors to sell off there shares at the moment ..
Google is hahaha high for sure , But may take a hit big enough to bring them down to earth. Also, makes me wonder if they will be forced to change their platform or try to buy out Vringo.

Took one hell of a nose dive today and I bought at 1.95 ... it instantly jumped to 2.56 in minutes and they suspended trading .... the case is still going on and expected to go to the jury anytime from what i am hearing .... still watching it ... damn roller coaster ride but vrng is suppose to be on top ...:drool:

So far so good :)

I am also keeping these suits in mind ....

Vringo is also suing, for much lesser amounts, IAC, AOL, Target and Ganett that incorporate same Internet advertising technology from Google.
