Bob -

This is a great place with great people. I don't think there are many that believe that statement ("mods are not doing their jobs but have plenty time to give the contributing members crap instead") and those that do are not a real part of this great family. And if this statement came from a sour apple - then I agree with Shawn, don't even bother with them.

I have not always agreed with everything you've said or done, but I have never thought less of what you do or the wonderful person that you are. I have not always agreed with others on this site, but I still hold them in the highest regards. We all have different opinions - it's what makes us special and unique.

I don't envy your position - having to monitor grown adults and their words for the greater of the family. You would think that adults could be more considerate and make your job a whole lot easier.

Now to be serious. We all have good days and bad days. As you are well aware, I have sometimes said things that I have had to go back and apologize for. This may have been written in frustration. I didn't write it, so I don't know for sure, but it is a possibility.

I'd like thank Bobby and Shawno for all the great work they do. Especially when they are the 2nd and 3rd best Moderators this site every had. Having to step up and fill such big shoes is a tough thing to do :D :D :D Size 16 in fact. Niether one of you is 1/2 as good looking as I am either so you guys really come into this with a serious handicap. But we Love you guys. Phuck that person in the neck who ever it was who said that....Either that or post their name and I will do it for them.....:D

As everyone has said, it's just another day in the life. I didn't make that post, but I posted in the Taiwan Spam threads and I think that post was in one of them. The spammer was going crazy on several threads so it was a chance for me to Ho it up a little :D .

Bob, I hope I didn't post anything to make either you or Shawn feel bad. I think you both do a great job here :rock: If I did post something that wasn't nice, I sure didn't mean any harm to either of you .......

First let me say that "I thought mod's are what I did to my truck" LOL:D

This is a great site and just because I lurk dosen't mean I don't see how this site has been ran (run?)

Keep up the good work, and if I think your wrong...

To do our job or not to do our job.

I am like Bob and Shawn, what stays, what goes, what gets edited, what doesn't get edited.

Listening to members complain that the goldfish made a face at them before work, this morning.

This guys and gals is not an easy deal. The mods spend their own time without pay to try and keep peace and order on the forum.

Keep peace and try and keep order and not hurt any ones oversensitve feelings.

I think that if I didn't have to, I would not want this job, period.

Then there is the good side, seeing folks that are brought together and friendships made and information exchanged.

Keep in mind that the mods are human and have good and bad days just like you do.

We are not going to make everybody happy all the time, and cannot hope to do so.

If you want to put it in perspective just remember what you would say to that person were he or she standing in front of you.
 
I agree Jack. I know I don't have the temperment to be a mod, so I respect those that do.

Obviously the mods are doing their volunteered jobs because there are tons of stuff I never see that lead to such explosions, making me confused, scared and a little sweaty as a result.... :dontknow: Like now..
