K&N CAI Installed

Started to install this yesterday evening..WOW..much more involved than the Mopar CAI I installed on my Charger SRT8 (15 minute install)...I decided to go ahead and just let my dealer install it since it was free(owes me steps which I decided against and replaced with the CAI..parts & labor free. )...

I really did not feel any power gains...unlike the Charger that felt so different after the CAI install...truck does have a mean WOT now...luv it...

I would trade except that I told my wife she would go before the Charger...and I really do like her (the wife)...and besides, I washed and waxed the Charger today....:burnout:

Great cosmetic appeal. Truely looks super.

I still find it strange that the CAI installs just don't seem to change the dyno numbers...I guess we have the SRT engineers to thank for their strong design...

I seriously considerd the MOPAR CAI because of its looks only! But the possibility of a twin mount twin screw SC from Roe has kept me at bay...

I also lust after a garage with two SRT vehicles sitting side by side...currently am wanting the Jeep GC and my truck...but wife has the final word...what's new eh?!

Yea, most CAI's for our trucks dont do much in regards to gains. Installed mine as a sound mod.

Working on sealing up the box some more.....new hood seal

Yeah i have the k&n CAI. I wouldnt say i felt a huge increase but i thought there was a little more power under wot.

Butt dyno is usually overly optimistic. We have not seen any increase from any CAI system todate...in some cases we have seen negative dyno results
