Come on man we know you can do it, can you think of anything that would look better than one of our trucks with a real honest to God working shaker scoop just like the old Hemi Cudas? At least one of you computer whiz guys could PhotoShop it. If you do, make it a red 05 R/C.:burnout: :burnout:

Oh man. Are you crazy? :D

Do you know how high the 'stack' would be? It'd be, like, 14" tall! It'd look sillier than a monkey trying to boff a football. :)

I've got other sheet metal projects in the works. Let me finish those before I even start thinkin' about any hood stuff.

EDIT-
Now that I think about it, you know what would look cool?
A Roe peeking out of an SRT-10 hood. :D

AND we want a full on pictorial. I still have my star so I am privvy to the DIY section :D

How about a hood that wood clear a Roe with an intercooler setup.

I don't know if this one is functional or not but it's a start. Here is their Tag Line:

That is awesome. Looks like it is sneezing!

Yeah thats Don's truck (Beecuz on the rumble bee site) and his truck is sweet. he just broak into the 12's in the 1/4 mile!

I was gonna say . . . "A shaker style hood already exists!"

I don't think I care for it to much. I love the OEM SRT hood - OR - a more high rise version of ours. If Kev' makes ANYTHING is needs to be a larger version of our hood. I'll sell blood/sperm/body hair/nail clippings to get one of those hoods! :D :D

A couple of things on that Shaker:
1. It's fiberglass. FATJACK asked for sheet metal.
2. It's on a Hemi-powered vehicle. Their TB intake is in an entirely different location than the Viper-powered trucks. It's much easier to make the Hemi stuff functional than the other way around.

Keith- tell Don to clean up that engine bay! Do the Insulation removal mod!!! :)

I kind of like the idea of my Roe intake popping out the top of the hood GM style.

The open hood with the gray acoop is Baloo's truck who is no longer a member on the RB site. He was a bad boy!:dontknow:

The hood down with the N2O perge is Don's truck

On a side note if you look Kevan it doesent matter were the TB is it just matters were the air intake is.
I know it is big money but if you have the balls you could cut the tab off of the shaker and make your own out of sheet metal that swings forword to your intake. then cut and re glass the botom of the hood to make the air tunnle that conects them work with the new air "tab" off of the side of the shaker

here is a pic of the tunnle that conects the air box to the tab.

oh and i should add that the pix i am posting are of the first 4 of the hoods hand made before the molds were sold to good hood so the quality of theese may be better than the massed produced ones that good hood is selling.

Cool pics, Keith.
I hear ya regarding the install.
There's also the issue of water/rain. There has to be some type of drain system pre-throttle body if you do the shaker intake anywhere along the CAI route.
I'm not saying it's impossible with the Viper engines; it's just a little more difficult to route the air.
And the more stuff you put into the engine bay, the more heat soak you'll get.

And remember that FATJACK asked for sheet metal and not fiberglass. If I did one, it would be *all* sheet metal. :)

Also, with the hoodliners on our trucks, you'd have to cut out the majority of the logo.

It's cool and all, but way more project than I'm into right now.

Ya know.... I kinda like the front bumpers on the "Bee's".... First I've noticed they were different.  ...... Is that the "Thunder Road" front bumper cover? :dontknow:

No it is the sport bumper with the ground effecs piece on it that was first put out for the bee's in 04 then they put them on the bees in 05 and the daytonas in 05 then the thunder roads and now you can order it in dodges accessory book for any truck
