I am thinking of trying a new clutch set-up. The manafacturer said the material is kevlar. I was told break in period is approximately 300 miles. The company is www.southbendclutch.com These guys are known for making some of the finest clutches that are well known in the diesel truck ranks. Alot of diesel truck pullers use these clutches and are very happy. So far I have seen positive feedback on South Bends grippiness...

Anyone here try these clutches ?:dontknow:

the clutch looks good.. and hell.. if it's good enough for a desiel truck pull.
it should be good enough for a viper truck run! :D :rock::rock::rock:
let us know how it goes man! :D

These guys build clutches that hold up to 1500+ lb of diesel torque? Alot of the sled pulling stick guys swear by these clutches......

I'll get some more info from them.....

im in south bend and i can tell you that they have a sterling reputation here! all the rodders here use their stuff on every make and model you can think of. of course we are a bunch of amatures that only test at osceola speedway and streetrace the chicago guys by the hand full. let me know if there is anything i can do such as get you literature or go take pics or whatever! plus if you are picking up in person or want it brought to the nats let me know!!!!
