Kid in a CRX.

12's in your honda? 327 hp and 1600 lbs is low 11's easilly. my ugly ass isuzu weighs 2300 lbs and ran 11.5 with 325 hp at the wheels.

Some of them don't play.... ;) But, MOST are a bunch of posers. That CRX may have "only" been running about 250HP....... But, it also weighs 1200lbs stripped out.

Here's my other "toy"..... '93 Civic converted from 1.3L to 2.3L with other "goodies" I won't mention here. :D Fully built forged motor (same design/specs/parts has produced 327FWHP reliably). It weighs in at just over 1600LBS. The nice thing about these little cars is how inexpensive the parts are. We built the whole drive-train for less than $2000. We'll see how it runs at Oceola next year..... we're expecting low 12's. :burnout:

The Frankenstein swap was a PITA..... But, it should haul ass.
I wouldn't mind getting a S2000 for Sarah, if I could find a nice automatic. :)

I bet it was a pain... You're right though, it should ROCK :thrasher:

Oh yeah, good luck with that auto S2K hunt ;)

I just don't get the whole multi-colored thing. And no matter what, almost every ricer running 11's and 12's at the track still looks like complete shit. Come on, the least they could do is at least attempt to make them LOOK half decent.
.

More times than not...............the ugly ones are fast, the nice looking ones run slow. Rarely have I seen the good looking one that runs fast at my track.........and we have a lot of imports.

Agreed... I don't even engage with the ugly cars... there is nothing gained by winning or losing to an ugly fast ricer car...

If you win... big deal you beat an ugly ricer
If you lose... lol you lost to an ugly ricer... n00b...

Either way... it's a lose lose...

the last crx i had seen was at rockinham and run a 10.5 3 times and beat a porsche 911 that was running high 10's...
