a buddy and i are sitting in my RC SRT10 at a stop light in the left turn lane. nice night out so our windows are down when some kids come hauling a@# up to the stop light slam on the brakes, tires squealing. we look over to the toyota 4X4 takoma when the kid driving looked at us and asked "does that have a HEMI". lol my buddy and i look at each other and laugh and answer hell no its not a HEMI. the kid replies "aw to bad i would have race you" i start to think to myself is this kid a stupid. to bad i was in the trun lane as this guy was reving up and doing burn outs with this toyota.

What bugs me the most when people ask does that have a hemi? Don't all the rams come with a HEMI as standard equipment. Guess dodge did a good job on marketing that point. Too me that is just as bad as asking is that a hemi while the diesel is running.

I believe the 4.7L V-8 is the base (correct me if I'm wrong on that)

Yes, 4.7 is the standard, 5.7 hemi is the upgrade. 8.3 is steroids/HGH/RedBull.
