Thinking of installing a set of ladder bars, seem to be having problems with rear diff twisting when I launch. Has anybody installed a similar system or have any info they would like to share.

As far as I know there are no bolt in pre-built kits available. This is custom work that needs to be done by a chassis shop.

Dom has a ladder bar set-up and FSTJack has a four link in his red Procharged truck.

I was going to do it at one time, but the only problem that you have to keep an eye on is the twisting, such as going in and out of unlevel parking lots, I was told it would put stress on the bars from the side to side twist, but honestly after looking at it I think it would be fine on the street myself, looking forward to your progress:)

Cal-Tracs should do everything you need without screwing up your truck. Rear axle WILL NOT twist.

Its twisting, lower overload spring touches the caltrac bar and bent it. Broke another driveshaft and bent the caltrac brace so I'm just gonna install ladder bars. I was told that is the way to go, so I was just looking for some more info. Pinion gear was cracked and caused the second driveshaft failure.

Gotta love those slicks, sounds like my problems.

Maybe we can exchange some ideas and see if we can make something work. Hope my new set-up works, hope to be running by this weekend and I'll hit the track. Have two free AAA tows left.LOL

If you want to bring it to Nor Cal. I know the guys that can put on a custom 4 link. It will cost you a little over 2k and your good to go.

was it Patrick or Jack have a badass rear suspinsion done????

Thanks, but I have it taken apart already, did you ever get those springs swapped out?

No, it seems when we have time off most of the wifes "honey does" get done and nothing "I wanna do" ever gets done.

What did you figure out on the ladder bar set up...I never heard back from ya?

Getting it done now, should be ready by Monday, going out to the track next weekend. Got new gears, carrier, forged yolk, one piece driveshaft. Hope it holds together and works like we think it will.
