I've never seen any one do that but would be interesting to know!!
Between 04-06 there were 34 & 35 gal options (standard is 26) between the 1500-2500-3500. I personally know of a 35 gal that was successfully swapped into an 04 quad cab. The extra tank space juts out forward; usually one strap is the same as the 26 but you have to change the other strap. I will say filling up a 35 gal fuel tank with premium will likely make you cry lol. Anything larger than the OEM 35 and you're likely looking at an aftermarket fuel cell in the bed.

Apparently there are some larger options that might be made to work. Apparently an option on the later 4th to 5th gen HD trucks is an OEM 50 GODDAMN GALLON TANK....jesus.
There is also an aftermarket option that is supposed to be bolt in: https://sbfilters.com/collections/fuel-tanks-cummins (tank doesn't care what fuel goes in it).

OMGOSH that's about a 300.00 fill up and it's gonna need filling often hahaha yikes

On a serious note would like to see one getting tweaked but that truck being a 2 wheel drive is it even practical?

Mine is OEM and is near $400 to fill. So It is having a sleep for now

what's your petrol running the days? Ours is over 6.00 per US gallon at the name brand and even higher for diesel - Robbery I say!

Im sure all that oil comes from the Strait of Hermuz like everyone NOT in the world .. Somlets call it GLOBAL HAHAHAHA It’s freaking regional and China gets most of it .. What BS … US has our own oil , we get from Canada and Mexico and South American countries .. All scam BULLChit gouging the world … Absolutely reminds me of the scam of the 70’s when they told everyone it’s a gas shortage and the worlds oil supply is almost gone .. Yeah , Right crooked asshats , IT WAS A EMBARGO with full tankers sitting off shore and gas price rocketing , lines for gas etc ..
