So if you win the truck you are liable for sales tax and reg. So lets say MSRP is 53k In california reg and tax are roughly 10%. So $5300 so far. Now the feds want you to pay income tax on the 53k. I am no been counter. But that is probably going to be over 10k. So far "winning" has cost you over 15k.
With that said. I will give up my spot.

True enough but in the end, you still end up with a brand new truck for only 15k.
Not a bad trade at all, I would have join the raffle it was an rc, as I have no need for a qc.
