Just wanted to mention a few things that happened at the GTG last weekend.

First I installed Tony's TB on my truck. I then took it for a spin and man did it wake the truck up! With our automatics you mash on the pedal and there is a small delay as things get moving. With Tony's TB it shorten this delay dramatically! Felt like a different truck!! I very much appreciate you bringing the TB to me. I wish we had time to do the dyno testing (it was a long day and the dyno was busy!).

Torrie then got a hold of my truck and went to tuning. Think it ran 4 or 5 times and he was able to get it dialed in. He took his time although there were numerous people waiting to get tuned. This was my first time getting dyno tuned (I had a canned tune before) and I would suggest that anyone who is contemplating this to get it done! I confident that my truck is doing everything it can do on a safe tune. Thank you Torrie!

Truck got 447HP and 453TQ. The last time I had it dyno'd with a canned tune on it, it made around 417HP.

Had a great time and enjoyed meeting some new members. I also enjoyed watching Sara :D

so far everyone that has gotten one of the ported tb's has given me tons better reviews and feedback over all the BBK's we sold
much better throttle response, no sticking, and a huge kick butt feel in the pants!
I even got a couple folks that are trashing the bbk and going with ours:rock:
 
I really need to get the "Other brand" TB off my truck.

I will make you a deal, you send me your oem tb, I will port it, you install it, see if you notice a difference, if you do then you pay , if not , no pay

note I will only do this once;)

I will do it for one person on this here foooorum:p

guaranteed a difference over the single blade throttle bodies, you should ask tnviper what happened when he put his on;)

Thanks, Its still sitting on the kitchen counter :D ready to ship. I forgot who I got it from, but it has been awhile. Good thing I am lazy. :p
 
Tell ya what, After I get it and install it, I will go back to the same dyno as before and post up the difference.

Ok So you are saying that the ported OEM throttle body is producing better numbers/performance, and better response time than the BBK???????:dontknow: :burnout: :rock:
