So i'm laying under the truck to see if my power steering lines are leaking after fixing them today and i notice what looks like some sort of sensor on the passager side hooked into the clutch area i think and it has quit a bit of play in it. Is this normal? what is it? I also spotted a new leak from what appears to he a hard line plugged into the passanger side of the oil pan. Check out these pics and see if anyone can shed some light:dontknow:

here we go

The first pictures are of the line going from your clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder. The quick disconnect in the picture has been sloppy on all of the trucks I have seen. The hard line going by the oil pan is your dipstick tube. There should be a serviceable o ring on the end of it

That makes sense. Thanks bud. :D

Kyle, are you sleeping under your truck again???? Missed you at the Pavilions, hope we can hook up soon. Have a good day.

If you look at the dirt/clean patterns on the oil pan you can tell the leak is coming from further forward, not the dipstick.

I would degrease the whole undercarriage and drive it to look for where leaks are coming from.

It looked like older oil leak, buy two cans of degreaser and hit the carwash. :D

Well all I've done so far is remove the charcoal canister and go for a few mile drive to see if the engine light would come on. So far nothing. I was hoping that would magically get rid of the knocking around 3k rpm but its still there :( I really think it has something to do with the clutch. I tried taking video but the sound doesn't come clear enough, oh well on to the degreasing
