leak detection pump

is there anyone who has replace leak detection pump. all i know is there is a couple of bolts, a plug and hose to disconnect & reconnect do i need and special tools and precaution befor replacing the old one....thanks in advance.

Just remove it and leave the sensor. It will fail again.

I had mine replaced. But I didnt take it off before that. No special tools. pretty easy.
