Leaking powersteering rack

Just replaced Rack- steering gear. Warrenty covered it. 31,000 mi. Anyone got a leak? Just a heads-up.

Yeah, I do. Kind of the least of my issues, though. I'd be interested as to how much of my truck they voided the warranty on. I'd think it's just the drive train.

After looking at your mod list, Damn i envy you. I don't think a little oil leak would my priority either.

Just hit 17K, and mine was leaking and totally replaced about a week ago..Fully covered..

Was it leaking near the flange connections or near the boot-covers for the inner-tie rods? This is very wierd, those rack & pinion gears should last a while :dontknow:

They said mine was at the boots.
