Recently, I noticed that the beautiful baseball stiched leather on my (almost 12 yr old) 300ZX Twin Turbo was getting a bit weathered.....

I hate my shit to look like that...

So I asked around for some prices on restoration.... The response from the custom auto/resto houses was from $375-475.... I almost shit myself.... These guys said that they make the price prohibitively high because none of their guys wants to do the job..... That the baseball stitch must be extremely tight and it sends the poor guy home crippled at the end of the day...... Its real hard on the hands and fingers...:nurse:

That's what they said anyway.....:dontknow:

So I called the Nissan dealer for the price on a new steering wheel..... $750... MAMA...!

So, just for shits and giggles I looked on Ebay.... Hey, it's a long shot but wtf, right...?...

Hallelujah...!!!

I found my exact steering wheel, completely rewrapped for $179.. and he gave me another $30 for my old wheel.....

His work is bloody awesome.... Factory shit or better..... He also does shift knobs, shifter boots, console covers, e-brake boots.......etc, etc.....

He's a Viet Namese guy who goes by the name Don (Dung).... If it's ok with Patrick and Jack I'll post a link to his website....

Honestly, this guys work is top shelf and his price can't be beat....

I figured with all the resto-junkies, hot rod freaks and other enthusiasts we have, there's gotta be folks who could use this kind of work.....

Lemme know.... and I'll PM you or post up a link if it's OK....
