There are plenty of rumors that's where he will end up. They should have a hell of a team if it works out that way, that's for sure. But I don't know how they can do it and stay under the cap.

They'll give up most of their bench to make it happen. But, it's probbaly gonna happen. If he wants the ring, Miami's his best choice. Boston cant afford him, it aint gonna happen with the Knicks, his ego is to big to go to Chicago (the fans will always compare him to Michael). Miami's the obvious choice. Hopefully we will get a bunch of good veterans that want to come and play for a championship team for cheap. But. it'll be Miami's championship to lose.

All three will take 15.1 m not 16.2m. and we can do it. hell ya.

Damn... he is having the meating about half mile from my work in greenwich ct
Its like the prez came to town , roads where closed down , people are running all over town its a mess.

That leaves about 13 million for the other 12 guys. Unless they go over the cap they won't have anybody to play with them. If he does go to Miami I bet its only for 3 years. I know I'm NOT watching his show tonight.

Do you really need more than those three on the court? The other two can sit there an take notes. :D

The way it will work is Clemmens makes $850K and Beasly has 5 mil on his contract. The three rookies that we picked up in the draft will have a minimum of 1 mil. They can pay all the other guys between 450-500k and still be under the cap. Another way is trade Beasly for a center and that would clear up about 7-8 mil. Personally I'd keep Beasly cuz he plays the same posititon as Bosh does and that would be hell of a one two punch. You know the rest of the NBA does not want us to get Lebron. If it all falls into place can you say C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S.H.I.P! If you watch all the interviews with Wayne he grins like hell when asked about Lebron...he knows something.

Also they all will sign for five years. Instead of making 126 mil. for the five year deal they will make 105 mil.

Yea, he was invited to come to Utah, he said he wasn't interested in playing in a foreign league

Hell Yes!!!!! The championship is coming to Miami!!!

Heat got another championship trophy coming their way!!! I'll be saving up for the Finals Championship Games this year, even though every game will be like a finals game with sold out season tickets!!!

You got that right..they've been sold out since this morning tho. Some people have them reserved still and are selling for $9000 and I'm sure more, is what the highest I have seen.

Free agent point guard Derek Fisher has met with the Miami Heat on the day after the team lavishly introduced LeBron James and Chris Bosh as Dwyane Wade's newest teammates.

Fisher has been part of all five Los Angeles Lakers' championships in the Kobe Bryant era, four of them as a starter.

He reportedly received a $2.5 million offer for next season from Los Angeles. Miami could likely offer Fisher up to $4.5 million, based on its available cap space even after paying James, Bosh and Wade.

The Heat, though, were not content to let money do the talking, using one of their biggest stars as airport greeter and team frontman.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, James met Fisher at the airport and gave his own pitch as to why the five-time NBA champion should join forces with James.

It was a short meeting, as James was at the airport and on his way to New York to attend Denver star Carmelo Anthony's wedding Saturday evening.

But James clearly went out of his way to wait for Fisher to arrive and meet with him for a few minutes.

Fisher has stated consistently that his preference was to return to the Lakers, but that he wanted to explore his options.

Negotiations between the Lakers and Fisher remain positive, according to sources close to the discussions. Still, the free-agent negotiating period began July 1, and official signings started taking place Thursday.

During that time Fisher has had multiple conversations with both Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and Heat president Pat Riley.

Earlier in the week, Bryant expressed support for Fisher, who entered the NBA with him back in 1996.

"We need to have him back, it's as simple as that," Bryant told ESPNLosAngeles.com's Dave McMenamin at his Kobe Bryant Skills Academy on the UC Santa Barbara campus. "It's not a question of if he will be back; it's a matter of when.

"I don't care what [the cost] is. ... They need to work that out and get him back because his significance to our ballclub and to me cannot be understated."

Last week, a source close to the negotiations told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that the Lakers are confident the point guard will return to the Lakers next season.

Another thing I'm waiting to see is Shaq joining the Heat. Figure he would do it on the cheap just to get himself one more ring, after what Kobe had to say this year.
