LED Engine Compartment Lighting

I want to add some ambient white light in the engine compartment for effect. Has anyone done this? What products have you used and how many? Thanks!

Recon makes some bed lights that would also work in the engine bay. Call Stinker.
The recons are 2 strings. Each string has 4 "pods". the pods have 6 white LEDs in them.

It's in the shop. They are doing a lot while it is in there so I hope to have pictures of the install in about 2 weeks along with some others.
