Left Brain Right Brain Clarity

Most of you will not enjoy this video...but it really explains the difference between those who spend a lot of time dwelling on one side or the other of their brains.

It also accounts for much of the difference in views that we take on issues...

If you have 20 minutes...enjoy...on the other hand if you do not wish to understand the hemispheres of the mind...pass it by...it is a little esoteric.

I would watch, but I can't figure out how to make it play :dontknow:

Glad you found it Alex...I have been very busy this weekend and did not get around to finding it for you...

Glad you liked it!

When I was going through some of your past posts trying to find it, I found out some interesting things that I have added to my iPod. I've even subscribed to Ted.com podcast :p

You should be able to just click on the address in my post...if that doesn't work let me know, I will email it to you.

In the gray shaded area at the top of the site - "watch this talk as High-res video (MP4)" should allow you to view if you wish.

It's a very interesting lecture on how a brain scientist was able to study and discuss what happened during her stroke (the breakdown of motion, speech, self-awareness).

I know for some it may not be that interesting, but the way she explains it is fascinating to me and maybe the information will be helpful in some way down the road.

:)

When I click on it, I have to download and it takes 11 minutes? It doesn't just open and play? Maybe my laptop isn't that sophisticated  :D

Remarkable explanation of the human brain functions...The learning side of my brain is begging for more while the other wonders how pain killers and alcohol inhibits its proper operation...Real great post prof:congrats:
