I know all yall have been O.C. sprayed, I'm going through the police academy here in Tallahassee and got sprayed today. That had to be the worst 20 minutes of my life, that is all. I'll have a video and pictures up whenever they are uploaded...:argh:

Not yet, our instructor said milk doesn't really help. He wouldn't let us use anything though, 30 seconds of water flush immediately afterward, then wind and time.

The shower and reactivation wasn't too bad they warned us about the trickle. He said the pain is the same even when you do it a lot, you just learn to deal with it better mentally.

Yep, it sucks. I have had my share of OC...nothing helps much, IMO, but time. We are going to the foam type soon. Sticks better!

I am a former LEO having went thru the TN academy back in 1988...they didnt start the pepper spaying till about a year after I graduated...I guess I am lucky to have missed it..

I think it helps prepare you for when you spray somebody for real...I know it helped me the first time, which was only 3 weeks out of the academy. It inevitably gets all over you in the wrestling match that follows.
