I know all yall have been O.C. sprayed, I'm going through the police academy here in Tallahassee and got sprayed today. That had to be the worst 20 minutes of my life, that is all. I'll have a video and pictures up whenever they are uploaded...:argh:

Get hit with a tazer yet?

Not yet, our instructor said milk doesn't really help. He wouldn't let us use anything though, 30 seconds of water flush immediately afterward, then wind and time.

Cold water.
Milk.
Baby Shampoo.
Honey.
Get your hands on some Sudecon..
Baking soda on skin.
Manup.

be careful when you shower.

dont get any on your hands and rubs your nuts either

LMAO...the first time is an ass kicker. You'll actually get used to it the more times you do it.:D

be careful of the shower later that will be round two and is usually worse because your not expecting it:argh:

The shower and reactivation wasn't too bad they warned us about the trickle. He said the pain is the same even when you do it a lot, you just learn to deal with it better mentally.

Yep, it sucks. I have had my share of OC...nothing helps much, IMO, but time. We are going to the foam type soon. Sticks better! :D

They were saying the only downside to the foam is a perpetrator can scoop it off his face and fling it on yours

I am a former LEO having went thru the TN academy back in 1988...they didnt start the pepper spaying till about a year after I graduated...I guess I am lucky to have missed it..

Very lucky lol :argh:

I think it helps prepare you for when you spray somebody for real...I know it helped me the first time, which was only 3 weeks out of the academy. It inevitably gets all over you in the wrestling match that follows.

Oh yeah for sure, I've been exposed to residual spray before...nothing compared to a direct spray to the face
