Tony, What are we up to now, and is the west cost still ahead of the rest of the country in donations? Which just blows me away as over 90% of the US population is within 75 miles of the Atlantic Ocean.

Up to $330 but that is without Silverbacks and NBT's donations and Yes the West Caost rules, I think Flynlow is the only east coaster?

Maybe you would get a better reaction with a different thread title. I read part of this thread a few days ago but didn't have any shoes to donate. It wasn't until today that I went back and read the whole thing and realized I could donate cash. Just an idea to get more people to take a look and read the whole thing.

I talked to Tony this evening and he will be on the road this week.
In his absence Joanne has graciously agreed to help with this.
She will take what money is donated and go buy shoes. Which is what the radio station wants.
Then send them to Ken (NBT) in Florida.
He and other forum members will take the shoes to the radio station which is about 1/2 hour from his home and present our donation while they are on the air.
If you have acess to XM radio you can tune in and hear it happen.
Thanks to Tony, Joanne, Ken and all of you.
This thing will have to close by this Wednesday evening July 19.
Please help if you can, any amount will help.
Tony said that he has $350.00 so far.
It would be great if we could raise at least $500.00 for the Viper Truck Club of America to buy shoes to donate.
This donation will be made in the name of all the forum members.

The inside information says that the left coast has it hands down and the right coast can't catch up no matter what they do.
I guess that most guys feel if it doesn't go to something close to home it doesn't matter. This is not about gun control. I hate gun control. It is about kids and a start in life. Please if you can send anything do it. (There you guys have now all seen me begging)

Ok, I just talked to the Assistand Program Director. They would be willing to do "something" (possibly pics) before Friday, if I were to drop the shoes off in person with the truck.
They requested that no drop off on Friday, as they are dealing with guns so the drop off area needs to be secured with LE....and they do not need additional distractions. So it's pretty controlled. Can't blame them.
I am willing to make the drive, but we are going to need more than 400 bucks to get ample enough shoes.... (C'mon gang)
Kids are not going to drop off a gun for a pair of K-Mart Trex....and name brand sneaks cost a few bucks.
