ok so im lookin to add some more power to the truck but im concerned with the drive train. Im looking to do a nice heads cam package, or a procharger or some other FI, but im worried the tranny and diff's are gonna come apart. (btw this is a 4x4 hemi) Im not looking for a 1/4 miles beast. just something fun to drive. soo here comes the quesitons.

If i add around 100 extra HP will the tranny hold it, Will the front and rear ends hold up(This truck is AWD) If they cant take the power that is fine, I just need to know what i need to replace before the power adders come in to it.

Any help would be great... Thanks guys

call dusty on your trans bud, dont remember the site, but someone here will , he builds great trannys

on the rear axle i am set up with DTS customs, an I am sure we can come up with somehting to hold whatever you got , but proba a locker for sure, but not sure what is available for your applications

I'm guessing that what ever i do to the rear diff i am gonna have to do to the front diff seeing that this is AWD,

Does any one maybe know some good 4x4 sites or something, or maybe when these diesel guys are running?

are the SRT and hemi trannys the same?

Dusty's site is HTS Transmissions,he is really good,I bought all my parts from him, the hemi and SRT-10 tranny's are not the same, the tranny is our 10's are from the diesel - 48RE.

And even that is pretty vague. What you modify in the diesel trans will not necessarly work in the SRT one. They share the same name but have different mothers.

i think with 100 extrap hp the front/rear diff should be fine. the hemi trans is the same one that is in the Jeep SRT8 rigtht?

No they are different transmissions.
