It's LAPS FOR CHARITY where we get to run about 80-120 around the TMS Texas Motor SPeedway and get a picture in Winners Circle. It's been a Texas VTCOA GTG agenda for years. How else can you drive YOUR truck around a NASCAR track at nice speeds

You're the driver when Texas Motor Speedway opens the Speedway to the public for the last time this year. Experience the thrill of driving your car around the 1.5-mile superspeedway all to benefit the Speedway Children's Charities at Texas Motor Speedway.
Polish up your special vehicle and come on out to "The Great American Speedway!®" on Saturday, September 10, 2011 for Laps for Charity II. Take three laps on the 1.5 mile Super Speedway behind a pace vehicle for just a $30 and have your picture taken in Victory Lane for an additional $10. Once again our fan favorite VIP Laps Experience will be offered for $250. Laps will be conducted for Car Clubs (by reservation) from 5-7 p.m. and for the General Public from 7-10 p.m. No reservation is needed for the General public time.

Will you just go an buy you a Red one already. What's it been, about 3 years you've been drooling on them there "smart carz"? Wished I coulda made it Carl. I hate to miss that chance and it seems they may eventually do away with it if the attendees quit showing? You see my girlfiend there, lol?:elefant:
think i saw the back of her head. they were lined up & by the time i got in the lane they were pullin out, then they were gone.
worse turn out i have seen to date. very few were doin more than 3 laps.
2nd run was great. was in between a Factory Five GTM & one of their Cobras behind me. we were all fallin back & goin for it. bumped 125, once.
3rd run should have been with the Smarts again, clutch was sayin enough, lol.
always next year?

Another vid with a go pro on my tailgate. Funny to listen to the difference in exhaust from my hemi to a cummins. Cummins was smoking all the high end cars behind us which was very funny to both of us!

Ill make sure and put something up on here next time if yal all want to meet up with us! This one was very sad for us...have 4 rams, and one dakota
People either pulled out or forgot...and even a few left just because no one else was going. But it was nice being able to space out from everyone and get a few good pulls...even with my 4.56 gears and 275/40/17 tires i still hit 105 without having to push it too hard! :rock::rock:

yep. seemed to start off strong then more & more bowed out.
i agree on the over all turn out, but like ya said seemed a bit more relax & could do a little more
4.56's & 17's. bet you were still screamin, lol.:rock:

Had to sell my 22s for the $ so went to my 17s and have short tires on them for the strip. At 70 im sitting at 2800rpm. Get a very bad drone at 75 when im at 3000rpm with exhaust running out the cat but after that it gets quiet. :rock:
With the 17s and 4.56s im taking almost anything off the line. Had a CTS-V sedan with full exhaust and big cam took him to about 30 and we both spun off the line. Cammed GTO to 60 off the line and had a massively cammed C6 the other day at Texas Womans University ont the street i was taking to 55-60 :rock:
Its a fun truck with just cold air, 4.56, and 17s. With a very mild tune just got the gears.:drool:

Final gear ratio is a 5.86 :drool::rock: I think is what my bud told me. They are 275/40/17 with 4.56 gears
