This isn't something that happens on an everyday basis so I will have to share this scenario with everyone that probably already knows what will happen.
I’m on my way home from work today as I get on I-45 north. All was looking normal, you know, just every other car driving my same direction whizzing by me in the wrong direction, THE STANDARD STUFFFFFF.. Then I hear something speeding up in the next two lanes over at my left. It was a silver L picking on a ricered Civic and ricered RX-8. In my mind: “Okay, so why don’t you pick on someone your own size?†The hammer in #1900 is dropped in 5th at this time, and just over 100 I am back in 6th past the rice rockets and up to the SVT L neck and neck with his sexy aftermarket hood scoops *chuckle*. That's when I realized I've seen this guy trying to act tough on this freeway before. This guy would NOT look over at me. In fact I notice him slowing down a bit. The ricers want to see what’s going to happen so they are both right up on us honking their horns. Then, now that he's been placed on the spot he punches it from an already 90+ mph roll. That was my cue for a hammer drop to 4th and time to say bye-bye kids. I even went past my exit for this one. No, the L driver looked like he had more of an appetite for rice and not some real beef so he submitted almost immediately. He didn’t try to engage again until after he was sure I was getting off the freeway. Suddenly as I am approaching the 'now wrong' exit I hear his truck rev up as he increased speed again to continue acting like he couldn’t be owned.
I know some L owners around here that would be very ashamed of this character. Don’t start cheering me brothers (and sister) I don’t even consider that a kill. I consider that silliness and lack of courage on his part. He just needs to drive his azz to OZ and visit the wizard.
