lights keep going on and off

while i drive at night, my headlights will usually go off then come back on without any notice. any reason why? they are just stock headlights with silverstar bulbs.

Sounds Like The Switch Or A Bad Ground. Need More Specifics, Is It All The Time, Or Intermittent?

used to be only when it rain and the vehicle was wet. last two days it has been dry and itll happen. road an be smooth or bumpy and itll do it.

fog lights will stay on whether headlights go out or not. its just the headlights. i haven't tried to see if it will happen when i have high beams on.

And Both Left And Right Go Out At The Same Time?

May be the Totally Integrated Power Module ( TIPM )........ROZ had a problem with his except his fog lights went out....

yep both left and right go out at same time. i've tried tapping the switch and headlights to see if i could get it to happen again but no luck.

haven't checked if relay is getting hot. next time im out at night and it happens i'll check.

Only the 06's have the TIPM, his is an 04
