Well, once nancy puts the little people in the village, i am through with christmas lights! Channel 13 gave us some coverage, but it really doesnt do it justice. They didnt get any of the 10' candy canes in the driveway with a 23 foot spread, they didnt show my reindeer 13' in the air, didnt get the 16' tree with the kids holding hands and singing around it or the 12' tree on the side of the yard... they are supposed to be back out tomorrow night when we start dressing up as mr and mrs claus...if not scott will be here saturday to get us the proper coverage.i will post the link...we are Dec 3rd, mutt and nancy....the final light count is 39,374 not counting flood lights:D

Looks cool. Where do you store all that stuff in the off season?
i bought 3 sheds and made one huge shed that is 10' x 30' and has three doors. its on a concrete slab and i installed a 3/4" pressure treated plywood floor as well to keep out the elements

That's a trip Mutt, who would've guessed? I take it you've been doing this a while, must have been a sight back in the day when your Brothers came to visit hehe. Wish I was closer so I could bring the kids by, way to go.

i have only been doing it for 3 years now (ever since i have been out of the club)...the first year i all i had was garland lights on the fence and 9 reindeer pulling a sleigh. the sleigh was my harley with the 20"apehangers and the 8" risers. i stuffed a lifesized santa and put him on the bike. i didnt place that year.

last year we had 17,500 lights and we took second place.

this year i am shooting for 1st.
