Abraham Lincoln once asked General Winfield Scott,

"Why is it that you were once able to take the City of Mexico
in three months with five thousand men,
and we have been unable to take Richmond with one hundred thousand men?"

Last time I was in Richmond was about 15yrs ago to compete in a

pistol match, and noticed that there seemed to be large areas of Richmond

ripe for carpet bombing. Glad I was heavily armed.:rock:
