Installing it on the rear is not meant to bypass the rear brakes it is made for front wheel drive cars.

Also if you activate the switch first and pump the brakes it brake pressure will bypass the spool and get trapped in the front brake system.

1. Push brake pedal and hold.
2. Push line loc switch to on...hold if button type.
3. Release brake pedal....front brakes will stay locked.
4. Push gas pedal to make rear wheels turn.
5. Flip line loc switch off or release button to move forward.
The purpose the the line loc is to heat the rear tires without having to hold the brakes which causes wear.

Also, if I understand you correctly nothing special is required to burn out while controlling the front brakes only with the left foot:

no your right foot................that controls the burn out. if you wanted to roll out with a burn out you could close the switch, and just barely push on the brake or visversa and set it at a lower psi so the wheel slips.........
No what i'm saying is that if you set the switch and engage the line lock, and you push the brake. The brake pressure is great enough to bypass around the spool valve and engage the front brakes and when you release the brake it will stay trapped in the front caliper until you disengage the line lock.

I haven't refered to any instructions cause I didn't buy the kit yet.
I know the principle of the lock but I don't know if the solenoid is connected to the "send" line or "return". I probably will figure it out when it get the kit from Justin but i wanted to throw the ball already![]()
When you engage the lock and then hit the brake I would think you bypass the send line TO the rear brakes (they rear calibers are not engaged at all). Or are they in the return of the fronts (thus you engare both brakes wile pressing the pedal but you're able to release pressure on the rear only after depressing the brake pedal.
My idea is to connect the kit in a way that you could bypass the rear from the brake pedal and control the force on the front brake when doing a burnout while the sitch is on (= 'switch ON' would disable the "send" to the rear)
