No problem Chris. It was my pleasure. You should give Doug a call before you swap out the pistons and rods to verify if they will hold up for your application or not. No sense in spending on that if not needed. I think they would hold up to the SC and the NOS, but what the hell do I know.

i just called and left a msg, i have spoke to Tony - he said the same thing, there should be no need to change out my internals, just slap the Roe on there and see what happends, worst case i have a spare engine i can build

That's good news. That means your truck isn't going to be down for too long. Now you can spend some of that money that you had set aside for the new internals, and get yourself a nice custom ground cam and beef up your heads. It would make a world of difference.
