Last week was fire prevention week and over the weekend our local fire house held an open house. They had on display several pieces of apparatus and an air ambulance. The kids loved it, especially climbing around the trucks and trying on the displayed protection gear a fire fighter uses. They really learned a lot about fire safety, especially things not to do around the house. My favorite part was the helicopter coming in for its landing. I asked the pilot if I could borrow it to gather up my leaves, lol
