Locking Lug Nuts

Also in one of these posts from SrtBrad

"I went down to the Gorilla main office and met with the manager (Edwin) in person. He got to look at the damaged wheel and aftermath in person and took the rest of the Gorilla lug nuts and will do an internal investigating. He took pics of the wheel as well.

Edwin seemed to be genuinely concerned and I got a good read from him. He did tell me that Gorilla does not make a lug nut for our trucks at all. Whoever sold these lug nuts to the previous owner (VnmPwrd) told J.T. that these were the direct replacements for our factory lugs. I want to know who this person is that supplied false info and put my life and others people's lives in danger.

Edwin will follow up with a report for us to put this issue to bed. If any members have the same Gorilla lug nuts as I used to have please replace them to the stock lug nuts immediately."

Hey Stink hold off for right now...........

I have the Chrysler Dealer ones. They have a nice Chrome Plastic cap that looks good and Hides the Locking Lug Nut.
The reality is That a $20.00 Stripped Bolt Head Socket WILL REMOVE ANY LOCKING LUG NUT that I've seen.
If they have the time and opportunity a thief can remove them.
had these for a time too, but were a pain to deal with & not worth the bother...... a good thief won't have any problem getting them off.:(

my truck is garaged & not a daily driver anymore + i have camera's around da house too..... :)

Maybe I will just buy some chain and chain them all together :D

The dealer put the Mopar one's on my truck before I bought it, and I had problems with them. Since I took them off, no problems.

Bill.

Ok, so about 40ft of coated chain should do :D

Too late walley, there on your way, you waited too long :D

and I ainta making but one trip to the post office the see that fat lady:argh: :D

I use the Mopar 1 piece locks on my truck. no issues to date. Been on wheels for a year.

I had the gorillas on my truck on every stud and they still got to my wheels. They left my truck on blocks. If I were to use them again, I would use the middle ones on the original picture Stinker posted. It makes it a little more difficult to take them off.
