locking tailgate?

Anyone know of a manual or electric kit to lock the tailgate with the remote? I have the cover and it seems weird that theres no lock to keep people out

2002 - 2008 Dodge Ram 1500

i have one like this. Works with the power lock system of the truck.
I have it connected to the power lock of the drivers door. So it opens with one push on the button.
You could also connect it to the wires of the passenger door. Then it doesn't open very time you just need to open the drivers door.

wonder if there is any help from insurance companies with a lockin tail gate????

question, a buddy at work just got a use tail gate for his Dodge & by the sticker it has a "Ram Lock" system.

have not been able to google it. anyone know what this is???
it does have a sol. attatched to the handle.

If you don't mind physically locking it yourself look into Bully Locks. I had one on my 10 and it was fine, also it's only like $30-$40.
