Ditto it is just broke in, slap a Holset HX45/50 on it and you will be able to tear walls down. Still the best diesel you can put in a work truck.:rock: Sad thing is put 5g into the motor and that big bitch will keep up with a stock 10 and beat a stock lightning:dontknow: Almost happend to me

a really good place to look up info is TDR.com, the best place to get info, i loved my 04 2500 till my dad took it because he needed a truck ( i would have to kill him to get it back now) so i just ordered a 11 3500,can't wait till it comes in (just got my vin). there was an 04 and a 04.5, some minor fueling differences and horsepower ratings. The automatic is fine for a truck that isn't a true work truck. i put a aftermarket pan on the 04 with a temp guage in the srt gauge pod/ handle and watched it. and of course the srt hood.

without reading the whole thing, its overpriced. looking for one myself, if you don't mind a drive to TX they go for 17K with under 100K on the clock. thats 10k less then NY.

you ordered a new one? the 6.7 sucks. i see them with 10k miles for sale everywhere! lots of problems, and 12mpg.

look on ebay, for what exactly you want. been watching it for a year and a half, 2wd stick is what i need, so that is what came up in my saved search.

look in the bed it has a center ball hitch ,,it has been hualing some heavy shit ,,,either a cow trailer or a huge travel trailer ,,,bet clutch is in bad shape ,,good thing is the 05 is last year there were no cats on it ,,

yes i ordered the 6.7, and yes the gas mileage is not as good as the 5.9, but the motor is just as good. both in the same (isb) family group, plus i like the other parts of the new truck better. trailer brake, back up camera, interior fetures etc.
