I have a sudden [unexpected] divorce trial date coming up shortly, and I have to figure out where my kids are going to stay and how I'm going to get there in the first place. Does anybody know of a good travel agency or website for booking flights and hotels and stuff? I've never traveled before so this will be interesting for me.

thanks for any help!

check out the following:

www.hotwire.com (you can get really good deals if it doesn't matter what time of day you fly out)

My personal fav is www.sidestep.com (it does comparisons between all airlines)

don't forget expedia...that should cover a good footprint.

Any of the travel sites are very close in price. I travel very often for work, so I usually go right to the airline (www.aa.com) - rental car (www.thrifty.com) and hotel (www.marriott.com), if I don't go direct, then I use Orbitz.om

Also, make sure you check all of your surrounding airports (LAX, Orange County, Ontario, even Burbank) as this can make a big difference in cost and times.

Sorry for the reasons...

I like to use Cheaptickets.com, they usually can find a good price. And they can do package deals.

What part of Florida are you flying into?

Yes, when do you have to be there? Or when do the kids have to be there?

thanks for the ideas. I'm in los angeles (burbank is closest) and I'll be flying into melbourne, or maybe orlando. although I don't remember how far the drive from orlando to melbourne is. I haven't been in florida since 1992
