Does anyone have a line on a good condition block? I don't mean a complete motor, just the block. No I haven't blown mine up... I'm going to build a motor to go in mine and swap them out when it is ready instead of having my truck down for an indeffinate time. My goal is to have the truck back together for Nats next year. Thanks guys.

just contact kevin at Exotic Engine Development about the build to do the swap with and there may be very little down time.

As for how wild... me and Boomer are have discussed, it won't be as wild as his personal truck but I'm shooting for 1000+hp with drugs. I'd like to have the engine built over the winter and the whole thing done before or early summer. I'm trying to cut down on down time. Of course there are a dozen things that could happen in there, but at least I'll have my truck for most of this time.

Thanks Stink, I'll get with Blake. And thanks Dan, I'll talk to them too.

I live in Atlanta, are there any worthy engine builders within reasonalb distance? The mustang shop that works on my brother's car highly reccomends Proline but I've heard some less than complimentary things about their Viper knowledge. Any suggestions??? I'm trying to avoid the multi-block plague.

Hell... if any of you that are undergoing or have done a new motor have any suggestions I'd love to hear em. Please excuse alcohol induced shitty spelling.

ROE would just sub that out anyways....Indy Cylinder Head is an option, Proline, Arrow (not recommended), Exotic Engine Delvelopment, take your pick.

Proline who builds the blocks for UGR is in Woodstock. I'm in Kennesaw. Give me a buzz.

Yeah I know what its going to cost. I've already upgraded the tranny to a billet Suncoast... their competition version, so it should be up to the task. If my truck was stock, buying an already built one would prob be the way that I would go, but I've already bought a paxton, headers, tranny, etc... basically too much in it to sell it.

I have a terrible, terrible disease....

werent there problems with the work they did for you Wommy?

No - typical of the internet its been blown out of proportion. These guys have built more Viper blocks than any other builder out there and I've heard nothing but good things about them. They have 5 to 10 in there at any time. If you call me I'll tell whats what.
