Works fine on my 05 and Jimis 06

Somebody here had posted that this trick only worked with the 04s...I tried several ways to hang mine but got CELs within 50 miles....havent had a CEL since Torrie turned them off last June..............Fursale you should give this a shot...

I have an '04 and have strapped my rear sensors to the frame. But I use the sims too.

While i never drive in the rain...splashing water on the sensors could be a problem...the sims provide a good deal of protection from splash. I think it is also important to make sure the tips of the sensors with or without sims should be pointed down. This keeps condensation from gathering in the sensor which can cause problems.

got mine just in fresh air no prob. early '05 here

hey Prof how can ya run sensors & sims at the same time??????

Actually the right term might be spacer with a hole in it...it is threaded and covers the end of the 02 sensor...when used in the exhaust system, it moves the sensor higher and away from the exhaust flow.

I use it to cover the slotted end of the sensor but it still allows a clean flow of fresh air.

Another advantage of strapping to the frame: you then have a built-in bung for the Air/Fuel guage!
