Looking for suggestions on high temp racing Brake Fluid. Not for my truck but for a friend's corvette.

I like Castrol SRF had it in my integra type r that i used for the track. Check stoptechs web site they have a full comparison chart ( boiling point, water absorbsion )

I always was losing the pedal at the end of 10 hot laps till i switch to the castrol

depnds bone, what does he intend to do with it, if he goes silicone which is best , he will need to change it very very often

if he is just going to do the weekend deal, go with the motul or catsrol either one of those should be a good high temp fluid that should last the weekend, but tell him to keep watch on it, if it boils or changes color to change it out immediatly

exactly... no matter what fluid you use change often!! The second it changes color flush it out.

The dot 5 silicone is great but ive heard its got to be changed almost every track day.

Yea Dot 5 requires too much....If your not a hardcore racer changing you fluid after every race weekend i would stay away from dot 5....

Now i use Motul RBF 6oo on my track bike and always have since i started...It has one of the highest boiling temps besides the brembo fluid.....Brembo cost almost double.....Iv'e never had issues with motul

Yeah, I wouldn't go any higher than DOT4... Lots of folks I know use Repsol and like it.

But, I've always heard Motul for cars. :dontknow:
