Have an '05 quad and found another identical but with 15k miles vs. 56k.
The "new" one does not have a tonneaul cover but does have the wing. I Must have a secure cover and would really like to keep the wing. Any suggestions other than the Dodge OEM for $3100?
thanks

my cover and wing go with the sale. the wing on the new truck is screwed to the finder rather than the shorter one screwed to the tonneau cover. the cover I end up buying must mount inside the or fit over the finder in order to accept the wing----or buy another wing for the new cover. the wing on the old is much more narrow than the one on the bed with no cover.

right. what about doing something like a truxedo? that way you can have the wing and you wont even see the bed cover because its flush mount.

"truxedo" sorry, I have no clue on this one. can you point me in the right direction?

just search Truxedo. its just a different type of flex bed cover. there are many different types nowadays. some roll up, some roll into a casing, there are tons around.

everything I found was the soft cover type. i carry guns and tools in my bed so need something a little more secure. wondering if anyone had some idea on hard covers. found one for $1400 and a wing for $390 but wondering if there is a better alternative.

Used OEM covers come up for sale on this forum every now and then...search the for sale ads...someone may still have one.... and you might post a want to buy thread in the "wanted" section....

I have a Pace Edwards retractable tonneau cover. The only thing I had to do was trim the rails a touch around the wing. Didnt have to move the wing or take it loose. The cover is secure and has a good lock on it. The model that I have is a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit. You can get it with a motor or manual open and close. I have the manual.

Looks like a nice cover....Pros- Good price,secure,....Cons, thicker than factory cover, paint may not match as well as you might like..im bias towards the low profile factory cover but thats just me..just my. 02$

i know what you mean. i will hold out a little while for a factory unit but need the security. found one in Va. but not sure if we can get it shipped at a cost that makes it worth it.
