Loud creak from Caltracs

It just started doing it this morning. There is a loud ass creaking sound from the right caltrac metal bushing.The one that gets pressed into the leafspring. It's not the usual squeak, that noise I learned to live with. This is a loud creak any time the truck moves and it's definitely coming from that metal bushing. Any ideas? Please dont tell me it's normal. When I did research on theses, I read about the squeak. And that's tolerable. This creaking is gonna drive me nuts.

When I had mine installed at the factory (there shop in Lancaster CA.) they put a piece of heater hose where the two pieces of metal touch.

i thought that was where my caltrac noise was coming from too, until i sprayed with a lubricate and found it to really be where the caltrac presses "on" the factory spring..... some have put thin teflon blocks under the tension roller before adjusting, i just spray a lubricate on the roller a few times a year when it starts making noise.......

Something I found works.....make sure it's not WD 40 or any other standard lubricant because they evaporate eventually. Synthetic does not which I'm sure you already knew.....when I put mine on a few weeks ago I squirted some 50weight Castrol syntec in there (it's all I had synthetic) wiped her down, rubbed it around and it's stayed quiet. Just adjusted them again today for the 8th time trying to find the magic spot and I think I got it, at least for me and up here.....I'm doing a post. I will pray that you get the squeak to stop, that is one of the things that would make me get in the bathtub and slit my wrists, so I'm with ya. Good LUck!!!!

damn what type of noises are yall having? Santeen you really just need to lubricate parts to isolate where its coming from then go from there once u figure it out...

If it was the regular Caltrac squeak, I would be fine. This is a loud creaking. But, last night I sprayed the shit out of that bushing only and the noise was not there this morning.
