I currently live in cincinnati ohio but am about to move to Louisiana in January or February. Was wondering if anyone else is down there?
 
What part of Louisiana?

Im down south, i dont own a 10 though. There's a few on here that do but you never see 10's get together. I tried to bring them together for a meet, it never happens. It's sad. Every 10 owner i met locally at the track and other places were good guys to talk to.

New Orleans Motorsport Park, I believe is what it's called, isn't to far

I currently live in Covington, LA which is north or New Orleans. Hit me up when you get down here. I have seen a few 10's running around but never seem to be able to stop and chat with them. I know there is a yellow in mandeville. Other than that I seem to be the only one driving around around. NOLA motorsports park is open and is a wonderful road course. Would love to have a GTG somewhere between everyone one night.

There was a silver Roe RC around Kenner. Tried to get a race with him but no answer. Unsure if he still has it. I heard he only has 22's stockish rubber. No way in hell im getting onside a blown 10 on stock rubber though.

Southern Hotrod is mainly a dodge shop and they are in Kenner i think. There's also a few good engine shops to do engine work if you can pull the motor yourself. I dont see how building your motor would be too expensive if you leave the heads alone. 1 bad truck built his and it wasnt expensive IMO. Just a built low compression bottom end i believe. His four door tank moves with that Paxton.

Would be nice to have some fast RC 10's around to run against at the track. Two manual trans trucks going at is sounds like fun.

If I could work it out I'd like to have a GTG somewhere close. There is 2 guys here in GPT I'm sure would love it.

Ducati have you ever run at NOLA-MP? I wanna take the 10 there and do a few laps
 
No i havent but want to run my DUC out there. I am active coast guard and the time I do have is spent with the old lady and dogs lol. Let get a GTG going we would love to meet up with some other trucks.
 
im in thibodaux area near houma , one bad truck(bobby) and i have been out to no problem raceway a few times there in belle rose,la . there are about 4 or 5 tens here . southern hot rod specializes on big hemis mostly. let me know when ya get down here . we can arrange a gtg sometime . oh and those go carts at nola motorsports park are fast and fun as hell .
 
OH HELL YEAH

A GTG at NOLA motorsports park to race carts, now that would be one hell of a time. And yes those things are quick and fun :D
 
I live in Shreveport la. There are 3 10's around I've only met one though.
Luckys speed and performance Is in Longview tx which is a hr from here. They are good with vipers. I just do head work and machine work. You'll find the here in la the best guys don't advertise and only do it part time. Not enough "motorsports" action around. The big shops are really sloppy with there work. That's in north la don't know about south la.
And before you south la guys dog on north la.... I'm from Dallas tx haha

I'm new to this forum just purchased my 06 SRT 10 QC about 3 months ago and I am itching to bolt on some go fast parts. It's pretty much bone stock, the guy(s) before me only put on a drop in K&N filter.

2 questions:
Have you guys ever had a Louisiana GTG?

Anyone have any actual experience with Southern Hot Rod?

Met a guy with an SRT 8 300 who highly recommends SHR. But he had a full after market exhaust, headers and everything back and a tune and only has 332 rwhp. I don't know much about srt 8's, but that seems like pretty low rwhp to me. So that left me kind of skeptical about bringing my 10 to SHR.

PS I'm located in Slidell, La.

First off welcome to the forum. We have never had an official GTG but we did have 4 10s at the same track at the same day. It jusy happebed to be by chance

As far as that speed shop iv never heard of them but its probably because your 5 hours away
