Love Bugs in PCB??

[outnumbered]

My mom just returned from a trip to St. Petersburg FL. She drives a black car, and the entire front end has been bombarded with love bugs. She went through a spray wash several days after, but I think the damage has been done. I'm not sure that buffing will help. Are you guys in Panama dealing with them now?
