Anyone else having a lovebug problem other than northwest florida? Well we are and it is bad. They are swarming everywhere. Anyway, the reason I mentioned it is b/c if you are, I found a bug protection spray. It is made by Rain-X. It works great! I used it on our ambulance today. You spray it on a clean and dry vehicle and let it dry before driving. Man, when I went to wash them off, they came off so easy! Just thought I would share to try to prevent bug scarring on our Dodge's. I'll post some pics later!

just noticed today that the little bast_ _ds area back in the tampa area---I'm going to try the rain-x ---

LOL, ANY frontward-facing surface . . . They were even on the front-side of the spokes on my wheels!

sorry for the ho'ing EMT/SRT...definately post up a review of the product that you used...lovebugs suck

no prob. that's what threads are for! I'm just driving mine at least as possible until the little SOB's are gone!

i am a native, been dealing with these ba$tard$ a long time...and riding in the truck is much better than riding the bike during lovebug season, which i had to do for many years

bastards are back here too. will try the dryer sheet deal. cant seem to remember it when it's time to wash.

Hey Mutt----is it hard getting them off your teeth when riding a bike LOL ;) those little bastards suck ---think I'll try the dryer sheet and the rain-x----anyone making a bra for our trucks yet?

Steve Holden has a solution...pm him about getting some clear acrylic that many of us are going to use to protect our rear quarter panels from shredded rubber...a couple of feet could be used to protect painted areas on the front of your trucks.
