Low idle

Hello!

Not new to the forum, but don't believe I ever posted before.

I own a beautiful 05 red RC. Owned for about 2 years now, and only has 9k on it.. But have a ongoing problem.
I live in upstate NY, so it gets put away for the winter, I always unhook the battery because it sits for months. Each time I wake it up it runs perfect. but after little time, especially on a drive with higher cruising speeds for longer periods of time, the next COLD start it idles low! It barley stays running. 4-500 rpm. Once the truck gets to operating temperature after a bad idle, its better.. but not normal!!
when idling low If I unhook the battery for X amount of minutes and start it again, it idles perfect!
I replaced the throttle position sensor with a oem one last year, dident help. Its never had a tune and is bone stock!

Please help.

I know its been posed tons of times, I have searched.
My truck is bone stock, no cai, nothing.. Typically all the treads about the situation something has been modified. I don't search the forums all day, so a link might help!
Just looking for help. something is better than nothing.

Take out the iac and clean it and reinstall..

Yessir, remove Idle Air Controller from below TPS. It'll be coveted in black goop. Clean with carb cleaner, move pintle in and out a couple times, then reinstall. If not you'll likely need new IAC sir
