Low voltage

I have been having a problem with lower voltage to the battery some where around 13.3. I was told I need a new alternator by Pepboys. I was wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem and ask if anyone thinks that aftermarket voltage stabilizer would help with this? Any help??????:chain:

Should be around 13.9. If they tested the Alternator and said it's bad, then it's time for a new one. I don't see a need for anything aftermarket

well I took off the alternator and to be checked and they said that the Alternator is good. Talked with some friends that the voltage regulator is inside the computer and if having a voltage problem that I will need to replace the computer.

You can read battery volts the PCM is seeing with a data logger. Have you done this? or did you just read it at the Alternator?

I'd have your battery load tested first....
