hey guys i want to lower my qc but don't wont to go extreme lowering, maybe half of what the jtvsp extreme lowering kit has....any suggestions?
I really don't want to sit too low

You can't do blocks on a QC. The axle is on the wrong side of the spring for that. Shackles will give you about a 1 inch drop though.

JTSV lowering is fine...

You can clear curbs with a 2/5 drop on a quad cab????? Measure how high off the ground your front bumper is?? I find that really hard to believe being, my front end is stock and I skim the curbs most of the time, be lucky of there is an inch at best of times, I only have the drop shackles on right now, I have a 2/5 drop sitting in the garage, my concern is after dropping it the rear axle hammering the frame with an inch or less of travel in the rear and the front bumper for sure will not clear curbs if I lower the front 2".
